A broad-spectrum systemic fungicide used in agriculture to protect various crops, including grapevine, fruit crops and vegetables, from diseases caused by oomycetes, especially downy mildews and Phytophthora. It is the only fungicide with complete systemic movement, both upward (xylem) and downward (phloem), protecting old and new leaves as well as the root system. In addition to acting directly on the fungus, it stimulates the plant’s natural self-defence reactions, increasing resistance to infection.
