Fertilizers Slow-release

Slow-release fertilizers are used for the nutrition of plants.

They differ from immediate-release fertilizers due to their ability to gradually release nutrients, sometimes over quite long periods (from 3 to 14 months).

They can be either natural or chemical, such as products based on magnesium ammonium phosphate and nitrogen.

Among the products in our catalog we offer slow-release fertilizers with different nutrient release times, which may vary depending on the type of soil or substrate to be treated and climatic conditions.

Sometimes soil humidity or pH acidity can speed up the absorption process, so it is always advisable to seek advice from our experts to evaluate the best product depending on the specific use.

Granular fertilizers, coated fertilizers

The most suitable form is usually granular fertilizers, ideal for fertilizing potted plants.

It is often useful to use so-called coated fertilizers, which are special granular products covered with multiple membranes. These coatings delay part of the nutrient release, ensuring low salinity in the early stages after potting and releasing nutrients later, when the plant has greater needs.

Each product has specific chemical characteristics, making it suitable for particular plant species in containers, as well as for vegetable gardens, gardens, and turf applications.
