VERTIMEC EC

Vertimec EC is a well-known broad-spectrum, high-efficacy insecticide-acaricide used in agriculture to protect numerous vegetable, fruit and ornamental crops. Its active ingredient is abamectin (1.84% or 18 g/L), a natural substance produced by fermentation of the bacterium Streptomyces avermitilis. It effectively controls the mobile stages of several mite species (red spider mite, eriophyid mites). It is active against various insects, particularly psyllids, leaf miners, thrips and aphids. Once applied, the product penetrates leaf tissues, moving from the upper to the lower leaf surface (translaminar action). This allows it to reach hidden insects and create an “active reserve” that ensures long-lasting persistence of action, protecting the plant even from weather conditions. Available in 1 and 5 L sizes.
