The SME 30 G professional pruning saw is characterized by the curved shape of its blade. The blade is made of high-carbon steel with a hard chrome coating to increase penetration into the branch and provide rust protection. The clean and precise cut leaves the wood surface smooth, helping prevent infections and allowing the branch to heal quickly. The teeth are sharpened on three planes and impulse-hardened to extend sharpening life as much as possible. The special blade processing known as “splayed planes” is designed to improve penetration into the branch by drastically reducing friction. It comes with a sheath fitted with a swivelling buckle.
