The AGEF small handled 3-tine cultivator (Art. 837), also known as a “claw cultivator”, is a hand tool used in agriculture and gardening mainly for weeding and shallow soil cultivation. It breaks up the surface crust of the soil, improving aeration and helping water penetration. The three tines make it possible to remove weeds between rows of cultivated plants. It is ideal for loosening soil in vegetable gardens and gardens, making it softer before sowing or for root care. It can also be used to create small furrows for sowing.
